Sawtooth Software offers academic licenses for non-commercial research. These licenses are only for academic research and for student projects. Many professors in business, marketing, economics, psychology, sociology, and other fields use our academic lab systems.

The academic license agreement includes the following provisions:

The software may only be used for non-commercial research (not sponsored by an organization that would receive economic benefit from the work).
Unlimited number of projects
Technical support shall be provided to a single contact person
Software may be installed on personal computers

*School refers to a college within a larger university, i.e. the School of Business. All faculty and staff within that school may use the software and install it on their own computers for the duration of their employment/education within that school
