Felix is a 26-year-old marketing student from Düsseldorf, Germany. After finishing his bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne, he started his master degree at the University of Münster and is currently writing his master thesis at the department of value-based marketing.
During his project work for a management consultancy he came in touch with a German supermarket retailer which was challenged with a new customer oriented omnichannel strategy. Building on the project work, he deepens his knowledge in the academic field and focuses his master thesis on the implementation and functionality of a shopping assistant smartphone app for grocery shopping. To evaluate different functionalities at each stage of the shopping journey, he conducts a scenario based CBC. Lastly, he observes whether the smartphone application grants the retailer an advantage in the highly competitive German grocery industry.
After his studies he would like to continue working for the mentioned management consultancy, that is specialized in the consumer good industry at an international scope. Besides his career, he tries to spend as much time as possible with his family and to keep fit with playing volleyball and tennis.
