Sawtooth Software: The Survey Software of Choice

Error: Internal error 200507191645

When first starting up SSI Web, you get an error that says: "Internal Error 200507191645, Could not create the CoUtf8FileLib.CoUtf8File COM Object, Please contact Sawtooth Software for assistance."

Version:  5.4.0 and later
Products:  CiW, ACA/Web, CBC/Web, and MaxDiff/Web

When starting SSI Web, the following error appears:

internal error 200507191645

This error occurs when the CoUtf8File.dll file (which installs with many of the newer versions of Sawtooth Software products) is not registered in the windows registry, or is not present.

Sawtooth Software has created a file that will try to register the CoUtf8File.dll file.  It can be downloaded here.  After downloading the file, unzip it and then double-click it.  (NOTE:  The file that you are going to run was created using Microsoft Scripting.  If you have anti virus software installed, it may report that a "Malicious script" has been detected.  We recommend that you allow the script to run once.  The script only registers the CoUtf8File.dll file in the Windows registry.)

If this does not solve the problem, please contact technical support for additional help.

Demonstrate CBC Using Only Basic Math

This survey will illustrate how Choice-Based Conjoint surveys work. It involves choosing food for dinner at a baseball game. You will take a quick 9-question CBC questionnaire, and then, using simple addition arithmetic, we will analyze your results and place the results into a "what-if" market simulator to see how your results stack up against others who have completed this survey.
