Two weighting methods show different results

We used two methods of weighing respondents in SMRT:
1. Weight through creating segments
2. Weight through adding a merged variable

Those methods showed different results n utilities, importances and simulations. They do not differ significantly but still they are different.

So my question is: is it normal that using two different methods of weighting we have different figures? Or should they be the same?

Thank you very much for any assistance!

Assuming respondents are being assigned the same weight via either method, the results should be identical.
