select rule on multiple choice

I'm coding a survey in Sawtooth. There's one multiple choice question. I want to set a rule that the participants proceed to the next question only if one of his choices is option 1. How do I set it up?

Please try adding this custom JavaScript verification to your select question:

if (!SSI_GetValue('[% QuestionName() %]_1')) {
    strErrorMessage = 'Error message here.';
}

Hi Zach, thanks for the response. Sorry I didn't make my question clear.

If a respondent didn't choose option 1, he will be terminated from the survey. Only the respondents choose option 1 will continue to the next question.
In that case, you can add a skip to the question that skips to a terminate question with this logic:

SelectQ_1 = 0

"SelectQ" must be replaced with the name of the select question.
