Is it posible to configure the response code in a select type of question?

Is it posible to configure the response code in a select type of question?

When I create a question, and start to add the members of a list, by default, Sawtooth code the members by the orders that I insert them.

For example, if I create  a "Gender" question, and my responses are "Male" and "Female". In the "Response Options", my Predefined List Members will be:
1.Male
2.Female

But imagine that I want define a specific code for each response. For example, something like:
55. Male
54. Female

Is it posible?

It would help me a lot when I have to manage SPSS data bases...

Thanks!

When exporting your data to SPSS in Lighthouse there is a recode option.  This allows you to recode data based on a list or by question.  I use this quite often for the exact scenario you mention.  Your raw data will retain the original coding from the survey, but your exported data will reflect the codes you recoded to.  It's a very nice feature.

You can also use SetValue to create a new Gender variable and set M=55 and F=54.
