Change Text of Next Button on Final Screen

On my last screen before the terminate question I wanted the Next Button text to be changed to 'Submit Survey'.  The script below is what I've used before but does not appear to work any longer.  What needs to be changed to do this?

<script language="javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
  $('#next_button').val("Submit Survey");
})
</script>

Please try using "text" instead of "val."

You may want to consider setting the next button's width as a visual improvement:

<style>
#next_button {
    width: auto !important;
}
</style>

using "text" worked.  Thanks!  Didn't seem to notice a difference when applying the width script.  What is the functionality of it?
When I ran your code, the button looked a little cramped on my machine, but that may depend on Lighthouse version and the style selected.  If the button looks good without the extra CSS, there's no harm in leaving it out.
