is this to be put in the 'header1' cell?

Thank you for your help!

When you have any CSS code, I am not sure where I am supposed to put it in?
Is it in the 'question' tab -> 'header' or 'footer'?

Using the code you let me know, I tried to change the border style of the MAXDIFF question table (below), but doesn't work......

How would I change the border of the Maxdiff question table?
Thank you.

.maxdiff .inner_table {
        border-style: double;
    border-left: 3px #000000;

CSS can be put anywhere on a page.  Header, footer, the question's HTML head tag -- as long as the code appears on the page with the question to be changed, the browser should take care of the rest.
