Prior to her academic engagement Jutta worked in Brussels/Belgium for the Bosch Group, responsible for marketing of industrial goods.

Jutta’s research is located in the field of food marketing. In her current project she focuses on the impact of nutrition labels on consumer behavior. It is obligatory to print nutrition labels on most prepackaged food products in Europe and the US. They were introduced in order to cut down obesity rates by changing consumers purchase behavior. The impact of those nutrition labels is subject to marketing research. Jutta tries to find factors to manipulate the importance consumers derive from nutrients. Sawtooth Software Choice based conjoint module is used to estimate utility consumers generate from nutrient levels.
