Lisa Nagel

Lisa Nagel is a doctoral candidate in Behavioural Economics at the University Bremen, Germany. She completed her Master in economic sociology at University Trier after obtaining her Bachelor degree in Sociology at University Mannheim, Germany. At University Groningen, Netherlands, she spent one semester abroad. During her studies she focussed on Micro Sociology, Social Psychology and Organizational Psychology.

Her research focuses on the chances and risks of the digitalization of the labor market. With the help of the Internet and crowdsourcing platforms that provide job opportunities it is possible for people to work online. She will analyse the job preferences of people who work on these crowdsourcing platforms. Using an online experiment and a decision-based conjoint analysis, crowdsourcers select job characteristics of their liking. She will thereby analyse the revealed preferences of crowdsourcers.

Because of the fast moving nature of the labor market it is important to take the revealed preferences of crowdsourcers into account, especially when talking about the applicability of labour law, social security law and workers' rights.
