Julia Schimpp

Julia Schimpp is a master student of Marketing Management at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Nürnberg-Erlangen in Germany. Prior to her study in Marketing Management, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communication and Public Relation.

In her current research project, which is part of her Master Thesis, Julia will investigate consumer´s preferences for the design and attributes of a reusable box, which should be used in the gastronomy for take-away-food. In cooperation with a company, which will produce this reusable box, Julia want to generate an alternative option for disposable packing to reduce the garbage of packaging. Therefore, the research project is aimed at helping the company to design a reusable box adapted to the needs of the customer. In detail, the study analyzes the influence of different attributes of the box on perceived utility and product choice.
