Lukas Mohr

Lukas Mohr is a Ph.D. candidate at the department of Marketing and Innovation of the University in Trier. He started his project in March 2016. Prior to this he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Business Administration from the University in Trier as well as having spent a year in Finland and a year in the USA.

Lukas is currently working on his PhD thesis in the field of innovation. He researches about a new service offering which he calls Service 4.0. Based on the characteristics of the fourth industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), he analyzes how smart assistants (enabled by Artificial Intelligence), which can offer service´s 4.0, create value for the user. His empirical research question analyzes, which characteristics of a service 4.0 (such as data security, autonomous service offering or empathy the virtual system) create the highest value for the user. From this analysis, Lukas gets a deeper understanding about this new service offering and can provide suggestions about how a service 4.0 should be designed so that users are willing to use them.
