Nadine Thomas

Nadine is doing her PhD in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Stirling, Scotland. Her primary research interests are in population ageing and social care. She is conducting choice-based conjoint survey research with unpaid carers of older people investigating their preferences towards support.

Her PhD project, funded by the Economics and Social Research Council and Centre for Population Change seeks to define the support available for, and preferences of, carers throughout Scotland, and thus to inform health and social care policy in this increasingly important field.

Prior to starting her PhD Nadine completed a MSc in Applied Social Research at the University of Stirling and a BA(Hons) in Human Sciences at the University of Oxford.
