Marc Melliger

Marc Melliger studied Environmental Science at ETH Zurich and specialised in environmental policy and systems. Marc is especially interested in topics such as energy systems and policy, sustainable mobility, environmental problems, system modelling, programming and statistics. He is currently involved in the TRIPOD project of the renewable energy policy group.

Besides his academic career, Marc has been working in a small energy policy consultancy, focusing on building energy demand and energy efficiency.

In his TRIPOD research, Marc studies the current transition to a fully liberalised electricity market. His main focus lies on the implications of exposing renewable energy technologies to competition. He uses conjoint analysis to compare investor's preferences for different investment opportunities and will further use his insights in an agent-based electricity market model.
