Claudia Reichelt is a 26-year-old student at the University of Muenster, Germany. She is currently finishing her Master of Science in Business Administration (Major: Marketing, Minor: Management). During her studies she gained valuable working experience, particularly in the FMCG industry, within Germany as well as in the UK.
Her keen interest in the current dynamics of the online grocery market in Germany led to the topic of her master thesis, namely “The Design of Online Grocery Stores”. The target of her master thesis is to identify consumers’ preferences regarding the website design of online grocery stores and to further investigate the differences in utilities of the derived elements for consumer subgroups. Therefore, she applies a Choice-Based Conjoint Analysis coupled with a Latent Class Analysis. The results aim at helping to close the gap in this neglected research field and at providing guidance for retailers in the (online) food industry.
