Lilli Leirich

Lilli is a doctoral student at the University of Trier (Germany). After graduating from the University of Siegen (Germany) with a B.Sc. in Business Administration and a M.Sc. in Management and Markets she worked as a science assistant at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Mannheim (Germany). Now, there she supervises a project concerning the establishment and promotion of entrepreneurial spirit and a vital startup culture.

Since January 2017 she conducts research on Social Entrepreneurship. Here she wants to analyze what are the criteria laid down by such organizations as well as support and/or funding programmes which are specialized in facilitating Social Entrepreneurship; by means of the Choice Based Conjoint method.

Against the background of a growing Social Venture Sector a comprehensive knowledge about and the use of explicit selection criteria can lead to a consistent quality standard in the decision making process of financial intermediaries, investors and promoters. It also provides the opportunity for delegation of decision making. Finally, social entrepreneurs can be geared to the criteria with regard to their finance application and their business strategy.
