I'm trying to add a license and am receiving the following error: Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.
This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms.
To disable the FIPS setting, Click on your Start menu and choose the Run option. Type gpedit.msc and hit enter. This will start the Local Policy editor. Using the tree view on the left under Computer Configuration, navigate to Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options. Find the setting that says System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing. Right click and select Properties and choose the radio button to disable this setting. A screenshot is below.
