SSI Web reports "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch", "Run-time error '7': Out of memory", "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range", or "Failed to load control...", usually when previewing a question. The errors go away after a system reboot.

Issue:
After using SSI Web for a while, errors appear and SSI Web crashes, usually when previewing a question. The errors go away after a system reboot.
Cause:
When a question or page is previewed, memory is used and is not recovered. This error seems to occur with Internet Explorer 7 and not with earlier versions.
Resolution:
SSI Web version 6.0.4 (for version 6 users) and version 5.4.10 (for version 5 users) fix this bug. You will find the latest version of SSI Web 5 and 6 on our downloads page.
If you cannot update at this time, we recommend users of Internet Explorer 7 avoid the "Preview" buttons in the product. However, "Questionnaire..." previews should not cause the problem (circled red in the graphic below).
