Lisa is currently completing her Master’s degree in Media Management at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. She is especially interested in media marketing. During her years of study she has been active member of a student initiative for media and marketing, chief editor of an online news portal with emphasis on children and media.

Furthermore she has been involved in news production at campus TV. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Media Science at Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany, with emphasis on journalism and mobile media.

 

Research Goals

Within her master thesis she would like to find out I whether media concepts such as Spotify, Netflix and Readly are also applicable to the German daily newspaper market. She uses Sawtooth Software’s MaxDiff module to identify relevant product features an online aggregation platform for newspapers should include to be interesting for German newspaper readers. Moreover, her research aims to find out whether potential users would rather like to pay for a subscription or to purchase single articles. An additional research goal is to determine the optimal price that could be offered for the new platform.
