Rumeysa Isikkan

Rumeysa Isikkan graduated from Maastricht University with a BSc. in International Business. She is currently doing her master’s in International Business with a major in Marketing Management at Cologne Business School, Germany. As she has almost two years of working experience in the automotive industry and is familiar with the current challenges and trends, she decided to focus in her master thesis on this industry.

The goal of her master thesis is to examine consumer preferences and their willingness-to-pay for alternative fuel vehicles in the German automotive industry. For that, she will conduct a choice-based conjoint analysis to find out more about the decision-making process when buying a new car. Especially after the German court ruled that cities can ban diesel cars from driving in cities to improve air quality, she is interested to find out how this impacts preferences towards alternative fuel vehicles.
