Tim Dreßler

Tim is a 28-year-old transport economics student currently finishing his Master of Science at Technische Universität Dresden in Germany. Even in his Bachelor thesis he worked in an empiric field: "Correction methods for surveys using the example of 'Mobilität in Deutschland' and 'Mobilität in Städten'".

At the Chair of Econometrics and Statistics, esp. in the Transport Sector Tim prepares an extensive research in the field "choice of transport mode". Target is to reveal the influence of different attributes with the help of a Choice Based Conjoint Analysis. The rehashed and edited results should enable making clear statements about the influence on our choice of transport mode. Furthermore, the research will be the basis for other studies, especially his master's thesis. This will examine the collaboration and counteraction of individual transport and the local passenger traffic.

Beside his studies and his job as working student for a consulting company Tim is an enthusiastic football coach and loves to travel.
