I wanted to again thank all those who came to the first MBC Training in Fort Lauderdale. I was quite nervous that you would all think the software was junk! Thanks for bearing with the small issues that appeared.
We all (including us programmers) often have ‘ruts’ in the way we use software. Some people like to use the tab key to move between fields, others prefer to always use the mouse. We get set in those ways and as a programmer when I run through the software, it works just fine because I found the obvious things that fell into my ‘rut’. Then when Murray tests the software, he finds the things in his ‘rut’.
That of course is where beta testers such as yourselves come in. You show us so many more things we didn’t try, and it is because of the wide diversity of your particular computing practices.
Your input is extremely valuable! Not only in finding bugs, but also in suggestions such as “I think it might be easier this way…”. A lot of this UI was dreamed up by myself and Bryan, and we don’t have so much pride that we don’t appreciate it when you tell us otherwise.
